In 1971 Sailmaker De Wit BV started as an one-man business. Fabricating sails for (competition)sailboats, motorboathoods and cabriolethoods was the main goal.
After 10 years the clientele changed and more industrial work was done. The watersport clients were not longer the main branch. Our company started to grow fast by this decision.
Shortly after the start of the company oilbooms were produced. We already have more than 45 years experience in making oilbooms. It was a small step to produce cable floats too. Due to our experience high quality cable floats, also known as Flootzer, can be offered.
